By this time, you should have at leas 20 - 25 villagers, or more, and you must have built 2 or 3 outposts, lots of houses and a mill if possible. The first thing to do is to build a barracks and some stables. when those are ready make some basic horses and send them to attack the enemies villagers, but retreat them when the villagers take refuge in the town center or outpost. If your horses have not been damaged, send them back in after a few moments, and you'll see that the villagers are there again. Repeat this until you have killed most of their villagers. this gives you a great advantage, because with very few villagers the enemy will not be able to grow an economy big enough to make an army.
At the same time as doing this, you must create a little army to defend yourself in case of your horses dying, and the enemy attacking you. you should also keep making villagers, but unlike the discovery age, spread them out more evenly. always keep 1 or 2 villagers making more houses, more outposts, an armory etc. you can even make walls if you want. But the most important is to make more barracks and stables so that you can produce troops faster.
you should try to advance age as quickly as possible, but remember to improve all economic and technological advancements to before.
